This is a draft version of my EXPERIMENT 1: The Physical Effect of an Explosion on Porosity. I wish to conduct a survey on car collision that interacts with speed, velocity and explosion. The experiment of vehicles colliding one and another under a certain space and speed could result in different explosion thus changing the porosity of space. From a quantify amount of low to high, the manipulation of velocity changes the effect of porosity allowing a real-time interaction of space during a “CAR ACCIDENT IN A CONFINED SPACE”. Hope u guys enjoy my video =)
I have chosen observational documentary to present my idea for EXPERIMENT 1: The Physical Effect of an Explosion on Porosity. The notion of observation documentary presents itself by unfolding parts of a story through scenes and sound effects without any connotation of voice acting thus leaving one to observe and interpret. The beauty of that is part of how I wish to display porosity in its raw nature that engages void and space by observing and thinking. The removal of voice implication in a scene questioned an observer’s mind, creating a critical thinking process that enhanced the depth and definition of the documentary. I will arrange a sequence of different explosion scenes in my EXPERIMENT 1 video to invoke a diverse range of porosity. In addition, I will create sounds to accompany my videos to produce proper production video that involves introduction, rising action, climax, ending and etc. I believed observational documentary is best suited for my video experiment to achieve an optimum production value.
Here are some try outs on trackview, rainfall, flowgraph, rope and contraints in crysis sandbox. All basic tricks but might be very effective in showing some real-time elements, hopefully they can be develop and use for future architecture projects.
An exploration of real-time explosion based on different explosives on small housing entities.
Test 1 – ROCKET
The village will be gradually destroyed by 3 rocket shots and the explosions will cause building parts to be blown off like projectile towards the opposite direction of the shooter.
Test 2 – C4
With the quantity of C4 explosives (3 C4s), the village will be blown to pieces, and parts of the building will fall from top to bottom.
Test 3 – GRENADE
The village will be gradually destroyed by 3 grenades and the explosions will cause building parts to be blown off like projectile in a radial effect depending on the drop location of the grenade.
Well, i followed the manual tutorial on www.wiki.crymod.com, managed to create the cave and cliff but not as realistic as the one shown on the website. Also, i couldn't figure out how to use the voxel painter correctly =(. Hopefully after more tutorial i ll be able to figure that out. Until next time, this is JW signing off....
